Another semester. As usual I have been tortured by syllabi, dumb stupid questions, and obnoxious members of my cohort. Of course there are the friends I was happy to see again, a new and difficult course that I like, and a few professors that may kick ass.
One thing about this semester is that I am burning out on Giving A Shit. I'm looking for minimum effort required, bare necessities only. Not because it's a crazy million credit semester like last spring, but because apparently my recovery time from that plus Vagina class in the summer is very slow. I'm just not on board, as evidenced by my mediocre grade of 88 on a recent exam. I did win the exam, though, by probably 5 minutes or so. Suckers didn't even know what hit them.
Oh well. I plan to carry on in spite of my ennui. Journey of a thousand miles and all that. But let it be said that while I am plugging along I will be feeling hostile feelings whenever I can care enough to muster them up.
